A variety of mechanical practices, nontoxic, and least toxic alternatives are available for home and garden pesticide use. The National Coalition Against the Misuse of Pesticides provides information on least toxic control of pests in the home and garden.

Information on less-toxic pest control methods for a variety of pests is provided below. The Bio-Integral Resource Center also provides information on alternatives to pesticides.
